Honey Basted Pork Roll Ups

Wow, talk about an extravagant ingredient to cook with. Honey Ridge Farms has totally amazing products and we were lucky enough to be able to sample them. This honey has a texture that is luxurious in feel and taste. A body that is absolutely outstanding.

4 boneless pork loin chops, about 4 ounces each
12 stalks asparagus trimmed, blanched and drained well
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons garlic powder
3 Tablespoons Honey Ridge Farms Clover Honey Crème
4 skewers that will be used on a grill

Dry off the loin chops and generously add salt, pepper and garlic powder to what will be the inside of your roll. Place three stalks of asparagus into the center of each one and roll up tightly, securing with a skewer.

Preheat your grill to a medium heat.

Place seam-side down until partially done, flip over and continue cooking. Start to lightly baste with the Honey Crème and reduce the heat on the grill. Flip and continue basting. These won't take long at all to cook (about 4 minutes per side total). Remove from heat and place the rest of the Honey Crème over them. Tent until ready to serve (they will continue to cook a bit while resting).

The honey added a sweet flavor to a savory meat. It was terrific and would be great on chicken also.
